Deciding on a review style

I've always preferred to write out reviews on a track by track basis however it takes much longer and I don't really know if it's worth the effort.  It seems like I could just highlight a few of the best and worst tracks and give my overall impression and it would be just as informative while considerably cutting down on the time to write it.  What are your thoughts on this?

  1. That sounds like a good idea to start off, you should also try to compare some songs to other songs in different genres

  3. I think you should incorporate as many review styles as you can, eventually you'll find one that suits you best.

  5. Just do what you like, you can't please everybody. For me, mentioning the highlights would be enough. Just try it and see if someone complains. But most important, you must be satisfied with what you do.

  6. Yeah I haven't really been able to keep up with Hip Hop lately. I think highlighting top tracks should be enough.
